Century Centurions (Ullin, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL), 78-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Century upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Carrier Mills-Stonefort lost 76-41 in their recent league bout against Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Elverado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Redskins come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 79-37 league loss to Meridian (Mounds, IL).
