The Corona/Vaughn Cardinals (Corona, NM) basketball crushed the host Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), 67-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Mescalero Apache was trounced by El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX), 42-27, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Pine Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Chesterton Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 68-59 non-league loss to Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
