Chiloquin Panthers/Queens (Chiloquin, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rogue Valley Adventist Red Tail Hawks (Medford, OR), 59-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Chiloquin upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers/Queens travel to Etna (Etna, CA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Etna lost 58-43 in their recent non-league bout against Yreka (Yreka, CA)

Next up, the Red Tail Hawks clash with the Lost River Raiders (Merrill, OR) in a 1A Mountain Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Rogue Valley Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 61-30 non-league win over Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR).
