The Dakota Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Romeo Bulldogs to 44 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Voyageur Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Dakota will battle a Cougar team coming off a 83-42 non-league win over Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI). The Cougar record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, MI). The Chieftains enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Utica ran past L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI), 70-48, in a non-league contest.
