Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Manchester Academy Mavericks (Yazoo City, MS), 68-26 in a league bout.
With the win, Delta Streets Academy upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Tunica Academy (Tunica, MS) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Manchester Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
