Arkansas High School Basketball - East Poinsett County can't hold off Marked Tree

The Marked Tree Indians basketball team scored 49 points and held the host East Poinsett County Warriors to 46 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mammoth Spring for a 1A Region 3 contest on Friday, December 8. Marked Tree will battle a Bears team coming off a 75-66 non-league win over Manila (Manila, AR). The Bears record now stands at 13-1.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs enter the 2A Region 3 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Island Central nudged Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR), 70-54, in a league contest.
