Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Fowlerville Gladiators (Fowlerville, MI), 72-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eastern upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Charlotte (Charlotte, MI) to play the Orioles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Orioles come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Charlotte won 54-36 in their recent league bout against Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Fowlerville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mounties come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 53-43 league loss to Western (Parma, MI).
