Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodsboro Eagles (Woodsboro, TX), 67-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Goliad upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Tigers host Cuero (Cuero, TX) to play the Gobblers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Gobblers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Cuero won 73-38 in their recent non-league bout against Falls City (Falls City, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Yorktown Wildcats (Yorktown, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Woodsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
