Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX), 41-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hamlin upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Pied Pipers travel to Paducah (Paducah, TX) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Paducah won 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Aspermont (Aspermont, TX)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Trent Gorillas (Trent, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Guthrie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
