The Rosepine Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Hicks Pirates to 60 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anacoco for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Rosepine will battle a Indians team coming off a 60-27 non-league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Indians record now stands at 9-2.
The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Grant, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Fairview was defeated by Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 84-24, in a non-league contest.
