The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins to 72 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 10.

The Griffins (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lindblom (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Lindblom was nudged by Hyde Park (Chicago, IL), 58-53, in a league contest.
