The Horseshoe Bend Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Salmon River Savages to 23 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Idaho City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Horseshoe Bend will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-46 league loss to Gem State Adventist Academy (Caldwell, ID). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

The Savages (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Titans enter the 1A II Long Pin contest with a 1-0 record.
