With the victory, Lopez improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial won 54-39 in their recent non-league challenge against IDEA Quest College Prep (Edinburg, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Raymondville Bearkats (Raymondville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. IDEA Weslaco Pike will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bearkats come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 45-34 non-league loss to Economedes (Edinburg, TX).
