Georgia High School Basketball - Northside overwhelmed by Jones County

December 7, 2023: Gray, GA 31032

The Jones County Greyhounds basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Northside Eagles to 46 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locust Grove for a AAAAA Region 2 contest on Friday, December 8. Jones County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 56-34 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Perry was routed by Houston County (Warner Robins, GA), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
