Michigan High School Basketball - Newberry ripped by Pickford

The Pickford Panthers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Newberry Indians to 30 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Munising for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Pickford will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 65-38 non-league win over Stephenson (Stephenson, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Cheboygan triumphed over Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI), 67-23, in a non-league contest.
