Alabama High School Basketball - Weaver can't hold off Piedmont

The Piedmont Bulldogs basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Weaver Bearcats to 63 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Piedmont will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
The Bearcats (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
