Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 33-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Wilson Area upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to play the Green Knights in a Colonial - East bout on Monday, December 11. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Pen Argyl lost 62-8 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Saucon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 67-35 league loss to Panther Valley (Lansford, PA).
