Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Griffin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
