The Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC), 35-34 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Seneca (Seneca, SC). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Seneca was tipped by Easley (Easley, SC), 49-12, in a non-league test.
