In Thursday's league outing, the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Santa Rita Eagles (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 56-8.

The Bobcats (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, St. Augustine Catholic smashed Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ), 42-24, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Morenci for a 2A East outing on Tuesday, December 12.
