Bigelow Panthers (Bigelow, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR), 50-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Bigelow upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers host Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 5 bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Cutter-Morning Star lost 53-24 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph (Conway, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 62-54 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, AR).
