The Copan Hornets basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Bluejacket Chieftains to 13 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jay for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Copan will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-20 non-league loss to Kansas (Kansas, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

The Chieftains (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Welch (Welch, OK). The Wildcats enter the Lucky Seven contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Welch triumphed over Watts (Watts, OK), 53-18, in a non-league contest.
