Valley Vikings (Hazelton, ID) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Buhl Indians (Buhl, ID), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Vikings host Shoshone (Shoshone, ID) to clash with the Indians in a 1A I Snake River bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Shoshone lost 41-33 in their recent league bout against Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Wendell Trojans (Wendell, ID) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Buhl will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 52-24 non-league loss to Raft River (Malta, ID).
