Alabama High School Basketball - Cornerstone overwhelmed by Central

The Central Falcons basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Cornerstone Eagles to 20 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscaloosa County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-43 non-league win over Demopolis (Demopolis, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jasper (Jasper, AL). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Jasper triumphed over Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
