The Waurika Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Central Bronchos to 26 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chattanooga for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Waurika will battle a Warriors team coming off a 77-24 league win over Cement (Cement, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.

The Bronchos (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cement (Cement, OK). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Cement was routed by Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK), 77-24, in a league contest.
