The Chambers Academy Rebels basketball team (LaFayette, AL), was overwhelmed 54-23 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL)

The Wildcats now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeside School for a non-league battle on Monday, December 11. Springwood will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 44-28 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-5.

The Rebels (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record.
