In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD), by a count of 72-34.
The Miners (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Keyser was crushed by Musselman (Inwood, WV), 49-47, in a non-league outing.
