Virginia High School Basketball - Colonial Heights overwhelmed by Hopewell

December 7, 2023: Hopewell, VA 23860

The Hopewell Blue Devils basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Colonial Heights Colonials to 24 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

With the win, Hopewell upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA) to play the Monarchs in a Central bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Meadowbrook lost 57-24 in their recent league bout against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)

Next up, the Colonials play the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Colonial Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 60-54 non-league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
