In Thursday's non-league outing, the Crosstown Explorers (Memphis, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Kingsbury Falcons (Memphis, TN), by a count of 31-29.
The Explorers (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN). The Lions go into the 2A District 15 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Lakeland Preparatory held off Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TN), 31-26, in a non-league outing.
The Falcons now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wooddale for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 14. Kingsbury will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 59-24 non-league loss to Memphis School of Excellence (Memphis, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
