Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) and the host Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), saw Holmes's basketball squad hold off Dayton by a tally of 50-49.
With the victory, Holmes improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Frankfort (Frankfort, KY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Frankfort lost 47-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Berea (Berea, KY)
Next up, the Greendevils confront the Raceland Rams (Raceland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to South Webster (South Webster, OH).
