DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), 40-39 in a league bout.

With the win, DeKalb upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Barbs travel to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Rockford Auburn won 52-23 in their recent league bout against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Naperville North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 58-29 league win over Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL).
