The Gate City Blue Devils basketball team (Gate City, VA), dropped 69-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA)
The Spartans now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Letcher County Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13.
The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Warriors come into the Mountain battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Central Wise beat Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN), 55-34, in a non-league battle.
