The Martin Falcons basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Goddard Communications Arts & Tech Jaguars to 12 in the Falcons league victory on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scholars Academy for a PSAL AA Queens II contest on Monday, December 11. Martin will battle a team coming off a 42-30 non-league win over Kennedy (Queens, NY). The record now stands at 1-0.

The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against The Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria (Astoria, NY). The Phoenix come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
