In Thursday's non-league outing, the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA), by a margin of 53-29.

The Greyhounds (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAAA Region 2 outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Locust Grove was trounced by Dutchtown (Hampton, GA), 41-30, in a league outing.

The Eagles now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9. Northside will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
