North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee Park Prep nips Monroe

December 7, 2023: Monroe, NC 28110

Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 34-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lee Park Prep upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Valor Preparatory Academy lost 63-13 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)

Next up, the Redhawks play the Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
