The Lewis County Lions basketball team (Vanceburg, KY), was overwhelmed 58-28 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY)

The Vikings now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russell for a non-league battle on Monday, December 11. Rowan County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-0.

The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bracken County was overwhelmed by Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY), 60-43, in a non-league battle.
