New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), 43-24 in a league bout.

With the win, New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Vipers travel to Auburn (Auburn, IL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Auburn won 65-18 in their recent non-league bout against Sangamon Valley/Tri-City (Niantic, IL)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Lincolnwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Purple Panthers go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 61-45 league loss to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).
