Lumberton Panthers (Lumberton, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS), 47-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lumberton upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Panthers host Purvis (Purvis, MS) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Purvis won 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Richton (Richton, MS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Perry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 46-14 non-league loss to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS).
