The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 53 in the Mainstreeters non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mainstreeters now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a AA Section 6 contest on Friday, December 15.

The Lakers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, New London-Spicer nudged Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN), 56-38, in a league contest.
