Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), 56-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Minooka upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Naperville Central lost 65-47 in their recent league bout against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - West bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Oswego will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 60-53 league win over Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).
