New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwood Evergreens (Minong, WI), 42-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Auburn upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Trojans host Bruce (Bruce, WI) to play the Red Raiders in a Lakeland - East bout on Friday, December 8. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Bruce lost 47-19 in their recent non-league bout against Northwood (Minong, WI)

Next up, the Evergreens play the Clear Lake Warriors (Clear Lake, WI) in a Lakeland - West bout, on Friday, December 8. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Clayton (Clayton, WI).
