Alabama High School Basketball - Weaver ripped by Piedmont

The Piedmont Bulldogs basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Weaver Bearcats to 27 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Piedmont will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
The Bearcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Ashville triumphed over St. Clair County (Odenville, AL), 47-27, in a non-league contest.
