In Thursday's league outing, the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rector Cougars (Rector, AR), by a margin of 63-33.

The Rebels (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Cross County was trounced by Bay (Bay, AR), 53-36, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Marmaduke for a 2A Region 3 outing on Monday, December 11. Rector will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 64-48 non-league win over Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-7.
