Tupelo Tigers (Tupelo, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Roff Tigers (Roff, OK), 50-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tupelo upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Asher (Asher, OK) to play the Indians in a Pontotoc bout on Saturday, December 9. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Asher won 40-9 in their recent league bout against Calvin (Calvin, OK)

Next up, the Tigers play the Latta Panthers (Ada, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Roff will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, OK).
