Alabama High School Basketball - Valley can't hold off Russell County

The Russell County Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Valley Rams to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smiths Station for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Russell County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 49-26 non-league win over Eufaula (Eufaula, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.

The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Callaway nudged Towers (Decatur, GA), 84-32, in a league contest.
