Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA), 48-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westfield School upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hornets host Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Southwest Georgia Academy lost 45-44 in their recent non-league bout against Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Southland Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
