Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) and the host Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR), saw Two Rivers's basketball squad hold off Western Yell County by a count of 37-36.

With the victory, Two Rivers upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Charleston (Charleston, AR) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Charleston won 56-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Lavaca (Lavaca, AR)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Western Yell County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
