With the victory, Eastside improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Tennessee Vikings (Bristol, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Gate City will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
