North Carolina High School Basketball - Ardrey Kell knocked off by Marvin Ridge

The Marvin Ridge Mavericks basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ardrey Kell Knights to 52 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mavericks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Hill for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Marvin Ridge will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 79-34 non-league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Sun Valley ran past Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC), 43-39, in a non-league contest.
