North Carolina High School Basketball - Hunt nudges Rocky Mount

December 7, 2023: Wilson, NC 27893

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC), by a count of 39-32.

The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Bertie was tipped by J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC), 46-33, in a non-league outing.

The Gryphons now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bunn for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Rocky Mount will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-26 non-league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
